There are some defect items that has to be documented within 7 business days from delivery of home to be under warranty. Any split or warp rafters or trusses are not covered under the warranty. Out of square walls are not covered under the warranty, and the list goes on and on. We have discovered that the NEH warranty is a very very limited waranty. You will end up in a lawsuit with them if you don't give up first and just pay for the repairs yourself. The builders they have are incompetent and the set crew are a bunch of hacks.

We still have the sagging ceiling and roof issue that has not been corrected. We reciently discovered, that the roof structure was certified engineered in Aug 2007 and additional roof fastening/bracing certified enginneered in Jan 2008. Evidently, our orginal certified NEH roof design plans, dated April 2007 was falsely certified by NEH before the roof was actually certified by an engineer. If your quote from NEH dealer includes a 90 psf roof load, expect a 51.7 psf snow load.
